Zakat Foundation Distributes Qurbani Meat in New York City

New York City, NY - The United States Charity Organization, Zakat Foundation of America, has successfully distributed Qurbani meat to families across four boroughs in New York City. The distribution took place throughout Tuesday, from morning to evening, and reached nearly 250 families in need.

The initiative was led by the head of the Zakat Foundation’s East Coast Zone, with substantial support from 11 community-based organizations. These organizations played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient distribution of the Qurbani meat.

  • Hillside Islamic Center
  • Al Arafa Islamic Center
  • Masjid ar Riyaan
  • Bangladeshi American Muslim Network
  • Masjid at Taqwa
  • Jamaica Bangladesh Friends Society
  • Bangladesh Muslim Center
  • Mosjid Al Aman
  • Astoria Islamic Center
  • Staten Island Islamic Center
  • Masjid Adam

Imran Ansary, a Zakat Foundation official, expressed gratitude to the involved organizations and donors for their continuous support and dedication to the cause. Their combined efforts made it possible to distribute the Qurbani meat to families in need, ensuring that the spirit of charity and community support was upheld during this significant time.

In addition to the distribution in New York City, another successful Qurbani meat distribution was conducted in the California region.

Globally, the Zakat Foundation slaughtered more than 800 animals for Qurbani, underscoring its extensive reach and commitment to charitable activities worldwide.
