Turkey's Cultural Festival Premieres in the United States

Chicago ready to welcome 10000 delegate

Turkey's Cultural Festival is being organized for the first time in the United States. The event will be held for three days from May 24 to May 27 at the famous Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago. Organized by Ertogul USA, this vibrant event features an aesthetic presentation of Muslim fashion, food, and folk culture. There will also be a separate session on matrimonial matters and a Muslim businessmen's conference.

The primary goal of this program is to highlight the culture of different Muslim countries. The event will commence with Friday prayers on May 24 and conclude on Sunday, May 26 at 10 pm. About two hundred actors and artists from Türkiye are participating in this event. In addition to the Turkish language, sessions will be available in Arabic, Urdu, and Bengali, featuring interesting cultural programs and discussions.

The Bengali session will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 4:30 p.m., featuring a discussion on 'Turkish-Bengali Muslim Culture's Historical Dialogue.' Prominent figures such as writer and historical researcher Mohammad Abdul Mannan, editor of the Muslim News Network Mohammad Imran Hossain Ansary, and Dr. Nazmus Shakib from the University of Kentucky will be discussants.

 

On May 26, a wonderful cultural program will begin at 4 pm, featuring artists Iqbal Hossain Jibon, SM Russel, Mariam Maria, Chandan Chowdhury, Shoaib, and Rumaisa Ansary, who will perform Islamic songs, folk songs, and poems. The Urdu session on Saturday, May 25, from 6:30-8:00 pm, organized by the Urdu Institute, will feature poetry recitations by Amin Haider, Rafi Bukl Nafees, Khalid Irfan, Khalid Masood, Nazar Naqvi, Kahsif Haider, Mehboob Ali, Dr. Lateef Saif, and Khawer Hussain. On the same day, Farrukh Khwaja and Neeta Shahapeti will perform folk songs and ghazals.

The organizers have announced that more than 500 stalls will be set up for this event, expecting a turnout of about 10,000 people. They urge Muslims in the United States to register to attend the event at this link. Twenty registrants will win a roundtrip ticket to Istanbul through a raffle draw.
